Rising order-at-table startup Mr Yum is set to transform the traditional festival experience this summer by powering mobile ordering at Taste of London.
One of the capital’s most popular summer events, Taste London takes over Regent’s Park for a fortnight of feasting, with more than 40 of the city’s most popular restaurants offering their signature dishes in sample-sized form.
Taste of London is one of the UK's premier food events thanks to the calibre of restaurants and chefs taking part, which this year includes Max La Manna, Mandy Yin and Elizabeth Haigh withHoppers, Burger & Lobster and Manthan just some of the top restaurants serving up a Taste of London.
With more than 55,000 hungry Londoners expected to dig in over the 10 days of the festival, Mr Yum will enhance the festival experience in the Diners Club VIP Lounge. Festival-goers simply scan a QR code to see and order the full range of curated beverages on offer, with drinks delivered directly to the table.This makes queueing at the bar obsolete, and makes for a truly superior festival experience for attendees.
Providing a seamless and intuitive new way of ordering and payment, Mr Yum has modernised the traditional model of festival food and beverage, giving attendees more time to spend with friends and family while enjoying Taste London famous hospitality and entertainment.
