Mr Yum CEO and co-founder Kim Teo says bringing Uorda and its venues into Mr Yum is a win for Queensland’s hospitality industry.

“Combining Mr Yum’s industry-leading technology with Chris’s passion for hospitality and his entrepreneurial spirit will be an unstoppable force. We can’t wait to harness his expertise and help Queensland venues deliver the powerful Mr Yum experience to their customers,” she says.

“Huge shout out to Chris for the mammoth effort in bringing Uorda to market and for all he accomplished in such a short time.”

Toovey says he’s delighted to join the Mr Yum team.

“I’ve been keenly following Mr Yum’s trajectory over the past couple of years. I have heard countless stories about how amazing Mr Yum’s level of service and support is, which appealed to my values in wanting to do the best job possible for the industry,” he says.

“I thought there was an opportunity to take the work that I’ve done and help bring that over to Mr Yum with the goal of working together to further fulfil our mutual aim of supporting the hospitality industry via a cracking product with customer service and support to back it up.”

Toovey says he’s thrilled to be joining a team that’s passionate about making hospitality a thriving, sustainable industry across the country..

“It’s exciting to be part of a real movement that is creating an industry-wide shift for the better in hospitality.”
